金年会 Rejects Apollo Attempt to Back Out of Merger Agreement

THE WOODLANDS, Texas, June 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- 金年会 Corporation (NYSE: HUN) today commented on yesterday's lawsuit by Hexion Specialty Chemicals and Apollo in which they claim they would not be required to consummate the Merger Agreement.

Peter 金年会, President and CEO stated, "We believe Hexion and Apollo's actions are inconsistent with the terms of the Merger Agreement and the obligations to 金年会 and its shareholders. These actions appear to be a blatant attempt to deprive our shareholders of the benefits of the Merger Agreement that was agreed to nearly a year ago."
